Challenge

The Six Legs Good Apiaries team was looking to update their existing website hosted on WordPress. They wanted to include more images that best represent their love for bees and to showcase a video reel about how they work with local neighborhood residents. They envisioned a website that not only captures the essence of their passion for beekeeping but also connects with the community on a deeper level.

Digital presence: Enhance the visual appeal of the website by integrating high-quality images and an engaging video reel that highlights their collaboration with neighbourhood residents. The new design should be user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and reflect the warmth and passion of the team.

Brand Identity: They needed a logo design to make their business more recognizable and to use on their labels. This logo would be a cornerstone of their brand identity, symbolizing their dedication to sustainable beekeeping practices and the local environment.

Solution

Logo Creation: I designed a logo featuring the husband and wife team in their beekeeping attire, with bees in the background. This distinctive logo not only helped in making their business more recognizable but also added a personal touch to their jar labels, reflecting their passion for beekeeping.

Branding & Design: Building on the logo, we collaborated closely to determine the desired look and feel for their website. This process involved expanding the design elements from the logo and incorporating the photos they had available. These visual assets were then seamlessly integrated into the next phase—website creation.

WordPress Site: Given that their original site was already on WordPress, we focused on enhancing and updating the existing platform. This allowed for a smoother transition and ensured that their new website was both functional and visually appealing.
