Headphones aimed to enhance their user experience to create a seamless and intuitive shopping platform for their diverse audience. As an e-commerce site, their goal was to effectively capture leads and convert them into sales. They also wanted to showcase the premium quality of their products by prominently highlighting features that immediately catch the user's eye.
Another challenge they faced was refining the search functionality of their site. The existing search results combined product inventory and blog content, leading to a less efficient user experience. Since they also produce product reviews and blog content, it was crucial to separate these in the search results to improve user navigation.
Solution
● Improved Search Functionality: I worked on the search functionality of the website. Using conditionals to create a functional filter, separating product inventory and product reviews, giving the platform a cleaner look. This solution created a more efficient load times for the results and an improved experience with potential customers.
● Tags and Call-to-actions Improvement: I worked on creating a functional conditionals for each tag by referencing the actual inventory status. On top of this work, I made sure that the call to action button is updated based on the status of the inventory. This improved the conversions of each product and created more options visible to users.
